Lachlan McIntosh
Lachlan entered the political arena in 1992 when he joined Iowa Senator Tom Harkin's Presidential campaign. In the years ahead, he accumulated an unmatched wealth of crucial, hands-on political experience. Lachlan played instrumental roles for former South Carolina Governor Jim Hodges, former US Senator Fritz Hollings, Charleston Mayor Joe Riley, and former Vice Presidential nominee John Edwards. He was tapped to become Executive Director of the South Carolina Democratic Party under Chairman Joe Erwin, and also served as Director of the South Carolina House Democratic Caucus under Minority Leader James Smith. Lachlan founded McIntosh Consulting to elect more Democrats to public office. Since 2003, McIntosh Consulting has successfully elected Democrats at every level of government.
In 2008 McIntosh Consulting won 80% of its races, including Anne Peterson Hutto's upset victory for the South Carolina State House. Her victory marked the only defeat of an incumbent House member in the 2008 general election.
Lachlan has twice been elected a delegate to the Democratic National Convention and proudly serves as a Democratic officer for his local precinct.
Lachlan was born in Charleston and currently lives in Folly Beach, SC where he often is seen fishing, boating, and watching those amazing South Carolina sunsets.
Brady Quirk-Garvan
Brady has worked in winning campaigns all over the country. In 2008 he was an organizer for Barack Obama in the crucial swing state of Ohio. He has worked for Senator Mark Warner of Virginia, Charleston's Mayor Joe Riley and served as Executive Director of the Charleston County Democratic Party. While on breaks from the campaign trail, Brady enjoys traveling abroad. A few notable destinations include Costa Rica, Cuba, Panama, Peru, Ireland, The UK and Norway.
Bryan Austin
Bryan builds and maintains web sites for McIntosh Consulting. In 2008 he built highly touted sites for Rob Miller’s congressional campaign, Anne Peterson Hutto and the Charleston County Democratic Party. Bryan knows all the tricks to make your web site get hits and work for you. Bryan is an avid music fan who is known to travel long distances to see a good show.
